Cancellation policy

1.   Policy Overview:
    1.1. Venue Managers can choose one of three standard cancellation policies (Flexible, Moderate, Strict) to apply to their venues. 1.2. In the case of a Venue Issue, Visitor’s rights under the Visitor Refund Policy will replace the Venue Manager’s Cancellation policy.
2.   Cancellation by Venue Manager
    2.1. The Venue Manager may cancel the booking if, in their opinion:
      2.1.1. The facilities/venue will be unfit for use during the booking period; 2.1.2. The facilities may be unduly damaged by use for the hiring purpose; 2.1.3. The Visitor has failed to comply with Venue Conditions and Rules; 2.1.4. A higher priority booking is received and attempts have been made in good faith to suggest an alternate venue or booking time for the Visitor.
    2.2. If the Venue Manager cancels the booking, any sum paid by the Visitor will be repaid to the Visitor. 2.3. If Venue Manager cancels the booking, the Venue Manager authorises Everywhere Venues to collect the transaction fee for the cancellation from the Venue Manager by withholding the amounts from their future Payouts and/or charging any Payment Method on file in your Everywhere Venues Account. The transaction fee for the cancellation will be AUD 2 + 11% of the Venue Fee including GST. 2.4. Everywhere Venues and the Venue Manager will not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of cancellations of the booking by the Venue Manager.
3.   A booking is officially cancelled when the visitor clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page. 4.   Cancellation policies may be superseded by the Visitor Refund Policy, extenuating circumstances, or cancellations by Everywhere Venues for any other reason permitted under the Terms of Service. Please review these exceptions. Applicable taxes will be retained and remitted. 5.   Standard cancellation policies
    5.1. Flexible: Full refund of Venue Fees within limited period - 14 days or more prior
      5.1.1. If the Venue Manager cancels the booking, the Total Fees (including Venue Fees and Service Fees) will be refunded in full to the Visitor. 5.1.2. If the Visitor cancels the booking more than 14 days prior to the check-in time and date, the Venue Fees will be refunded in full. The Service Fees will not be refunded. 5.1.3. If the Visitor cancels the booking between 48 hours and 14 days prior the check-in time and date, 50% of the Venue Fees will be refunded. The Service Fees will not be refunded. 5.1.4. If the Visitor cancels less than 48 hours prior to the check-in time and date, the Venue Fees and Service Fees are non-refundable. 5.1.6. Refund amount will be:
      • 14 days or more prior: 100%
      • Between 48 hours and 14 days prior: 50%
      • Less than 48 hours prior: 0%
    5.2. Moderate: Full refund within limited period - 28 days or more prior
      5.2.1. If the Venue Manager cancels the booking, the Total Fees (including Venue Fees and Service Fees) will be refunded in full to the Visitor. 5.2.2. If the Visitor cancels the booking more than 28 days prior to the check-in time and date, the Venue Fees will be refunded in full. The Service Fees will not be refunded. 5.2.3. If the Visitor cancels the booking between 14 and 28 days prior the check-in time and date, 50% of the Venue Fees will be refunded. The Service Fees will not be refunded. 5.2.4. If the Visitor cancels the booking between 48 hours and 14 days prior the check-in time and date, 20% of the Venue Fees will be refunded. The Service Fees will not be refunded. 5.2.5. If the Visitor arrives and decides to leave early, the Venue Fees and Service Fees are non-refundable. 5.2.6. Refund amount will be:
      • 28 days or more prior: 100%
      • Between 14 and 28 days prior: 50%
      • Between 48 hours and 14 days prior: 20%
      • Less than 48 hours prior: 0%
    5.3. Strict: 50% refund up until 28 days prior
      5.3.1. If the Venue Manager cancels the booking, the Total Fees (including Venue Fees and Service Fees) will be refunded in full to the Visitor. 5.3.2. If the Visitor cancels the booking more than 28 days prior to the check-in time and date, 50% of the Venue Fees will be refunded. The Service Fees will not be refunded. 5.3.3. If the Visitor cancels the booking between 14 and 28 days prior the check-in time and date, 20% of the Venue Fees will be refunded. The Service Fees will not be refunded. 5.3.4. If the Visitor cancels the booking between less than 14 days prior the check-in time and date, the Venue Fees and Service Fees are non-refundable. 5.3.5. If the Visitor arrives and decides to leave early, the Venue Fees and Service Fees are non-refundable. 5.3.6. Refund amount will be:
      • 28 days or more prior: 50%
      • Between 14 and 28 days prior: 20%
      • Less than 14 days prior: 0%
