Building/area description

Function Rooms

The BCCC has a variety of rooms available for hire.

  • Our small intimate room can cater for up to 30 guests seated, or 50 guests cocktail style. This room is ideal for smaller receptions.
  • Our function room can cater for up to 120 guests seated or 200 guests cocktail style and is the perfect space for wedding receptions, dinners, fundraisers, shows, christenings, Christmas parties and birthday celebrations. Both rooms can be combined to cater for up to 150 guests seated or 250 guests cocktail style and open out to a verandah set with comfortable chairs and lounges. All rooms come with tables andd chairs and will be positioned on the day to suit your requirements.
  • Our main bar offers a more relaxed atmosphere which is perfect for 18th’s & 21st Birthdays and will hold up to 100 guests seated and 200 guests cocktail style. With our new beer garden ‘ Thirsty Cow’ that runs off the side of the main bar it offers a great indoor and outdoor space and allows the capacity allowance to increase to 350 cocktail style.
  • The outdoor patio is situated up next to one of our bowling greens and is a lovely inmate area. It will seat up to 25 people but will allow up to 50+ cocktail style.

Food & Beverages

The BCCC offers both catered and self-catering options when you book one of our function rooms. The BCCC offers delicious finger food, scrumptious grazing tables as well as a two course buffet menu for you to select from. If you wish to self-cater, we can provide the use of our commercial kitchen & BBQ’s for a small fee.

All guests will need to purchase their drinks from the main bar. However, on request a private function bar can be set up or you can open up a bar tab (no minimum or maximum limit required).

Venue description

Our main function room is perfect for weddings, parties and formal events. It is a beautiful heritage hall with polished wooden floorboards and large windows overlooking the bowling greens.

The room has access to a commercial kitchen.

    11.0 % + $2 AUD

To be eligible for the member discount, please go to 'My profile', select the organisation you belong to and enter your member ID. The venue manager will then approve your membership if valid. The discount will be applied to bookings of relevant venues.

All bookings made by an entity with an Australian Business Number (ABN) and/or where more than 30 people will be attending the venue require a $20 million AUD public liability policy

The venue is fully licensed, no alcohol may be brought into the venue

cancellation policy

If the Venue Manager cancels the booking, the Total Fees (including Venue Fees and Service Fees) will be refunded in full to the Visitor. If the Visitor cancels the booking more than 28 days prior to the check-in time and date, the Venue Fees will be refunded in full. The Service Fees will not be refunded. If the Visitor cancels the booking between 14 and 28 days prior the check-in time and date, 50% of the Venue Fees will be refunded. The Service Fees will not be refunded. If the Visitor cancels the booking between 48 hours and 14 days prior the check-in time and date, 20% of the Venue Fees will be refunded. The Service Fees will not be refunded. If the Visitor arrives and decides to leave early, the Venue Fees and Service Fees are non-refundable.
