Building/area description

Yagoona is a well-sized facility for a range of functions and activities. It has a main hall that can accommodate 100 people and two meeting rooms. It is situated in a green open space with a leafy surrounding, adjacent to Gazzard Park and is within walking distance of Yagoona Train Station.

Facilities: The centre has a fully working kitchen with a stove, fridge and boiling hot water system.

Building/area description

Riverwood Community Hub has a main hall that can accommodate 80 people and a Meeting Room which can be used as one space for 64 people or split in two to accommodate multiple hirers for 32 people each side.  

The centre has a fully working kitchen with a stove, microwave, fridge and boiling hot water system.

Function Room equipment: Round or rectangular tables and chairs. Hirers must supply all their own cutlery, plates, glasses and table cloths.

Projection & sound: Yes, you must provide your own laptop with either a HDMI or VGA connection required

Microphone: Yes, only provided during staff hours 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday.

Community rates​​

Council provides not-for-profit, incorporated organisations a discounted community rate for hire. Groups that hire the hall on a permanent basis receive a reduced hourly rate. Contact us at Council for more information on 02 9707 5770.

Venue description

  • Weekend: $56.50 per hour
  • Block rates: $282.50 for a block of 9am–4pm or 5pm–midnight
    (Please note that the 5pm–midnight rate is only for Friday and Saturday)
  • Weekday casual: $43.50 per hour
  • Permanent: $25.00 per hour
  • Bond: $600

cancellation policy

If the Venue Manager cancels the booking, the Total Fees (including Venue Fees and Service Fees) will be refunded in full to the Visitor. If the Visitor cancels the booking more than 14 days prior to the check-in time and date, the Venue Fees will be refunded in full. The Service Fees will not be refunded. If the Visitor cancels the booking between 48 hours and 14 days prior the check-in time and date, 50% of the Venue Fees will be refunded. The Service Fees will not be refunded. If the Visitor cancels less than 48 hours prior to the check-in time and date, the Venue Fees and Service Fees are non-refundable.
